Greenville's Premier Wellness Destination
WE'RE OPEN!
Sauna House Greenville
Once home to the Borden Ice Cream Company, this historic building is full of character—from its 16-inch-thick insulated walls to towering ceilings and nine-foot-tall windows. Working alongside Redline Architects, Andrew and the team designed the layout to celebrate the south-facing glass and flood the space with natural light, creating an inviting, welcoming atmosphere for the Greenville community.

Nope! We just hold your card info to secure your appointment, you won't be charged until checkout.
We have parking available on-site.
18 and up, or 14 and older if accompanied by a legal guardian.
We call our bathing circuit Hot Cold Relax. We recommend up to 15 minutes in the sauna, a cold shower to rinse off sweat, and a cold plunge for up to 3 minutes. Then, relax and rehydrate for 10-15 minutes before repeating the process. Of course these are simply guidelines! We encourage guests to move at their own pace and do what feels best for them.
All guests must shower off before starting their bathhouse visit to remove any lotions/oils/fragrances/bodily yuck. This helps preserve the wood of the sauna and ensures a clean environment for all. The showers are also available after your visit.
Bathing suits are required. All guests must shower using soap before entering the facility to ensure the cleanest environment for all. All guests must sit on a sauna towel in sauna and rinse prior to their cold plunge. Ask your fellow bathers before adding steam to the sauna. Respect the space and the community. You can find our complete list of house rules here.
Tipping is optional and always appreciated!
Our team works hard to create a space that’s welcoming, and restorative, and of course—clean.
If we made your day, this is one meaningful way to let us know.
The research is unanimous: too much screen time is bad for our health. Our bathhouse is phone-free so you can disconnect from screens to reconnect with your body in an intentional space. Embrace rest, reduce stress, and reclaim some freedom from your devices. Your brain will thank you.
We’re all about a quick selfie moment, but otherwise, please leave your phone in your locker during your visit.
You will need a non-sheer bathing suit that provides reasonable coverage.
We provide towels, private changing rooms, and showers with our in-house line of bathing products. Samples of our body oils are available at checkout. You are welcome to bring a robe and extra towel(s).
We have flip flops available for sale, or you may bring your own, clean bathhouse footwear.
We recommend that bathers bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. No glass in the bathhouse please.
You’ll have access to showers, lockers, dry changing rooms, traditional Finnish saunas, in-ground cold plunges, a silent salt room, and Galanter & Jones heated lounge benches. You'll be provided with two Turkish towels. Premium teas, kombuchas, and other refreshments are available for purchase during your visit.
If you’re pregnant, have heart conditions, or any other health concerns, we recommend consulting your doctor before visiting. Please inform our staff if you have specific needs, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Yes, Sauna House Greenville is ADA accessible. Our single-floor layout ensures easy navigation, and we provide ADA-accessible restrooms and amenities to accommodate all guests.
If you anticipate needing assistance with one of the cold plunges, such as a lift, please let us know in advance so we can ensure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
We are committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming space for everyone. If you have specific needs or questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us before your visit!
Be sure to stay hydrated. Your experience can be detoxifying, and replenishing fluids helps support recovery. You may feel deeply relaxed or even a little tired, which is completely normal. Take it as a sign that your body is processing the benefits of the experience.
Because the sauna and cold plunge can increase your heart rate and burn calories, many guests leave feeling hungry. Refuel with a nourishing meal—something rich in whole foods and protein is ideal. Whether you choose to rest, stretch, journal, or enjoy a peaceful walk, try to continue the calm momentum you’ve created. Your body and mind will thank you.
