A Letter to our Community in Asheville
2 Min Read / Andrew & JenDear Asheville Customers, Friends, and Family -
Thank you
Thank you for getting us open in 2019, thank you for bringing us back after 2020, and thank you for showing up two weeks ago for our reopening day. You have always kept Sauna House going, and it's our goal to keep you going, both mentally and physically.
The thermal circuit of Hot/Cold/Relax changed my life. Then, it became my life’s mission to share it with others — In a simple yet elegant way, in the Sauna House way. I'm deeply saddened by the amount of pain and suffering happening in these mountains and I'm feeling motivated to do something entrepreneurial to help the community. So, we’re changing a few things up.
You may have heard that we are back open 4 days a week! Yay! The other 3 days of the week we will be transforming Sauna House into something just a little bit different in order to serve more customers. A normal bathhouse visit will soon include more cold water options and a blazing wood-fired sauna. This renovation will take 5 - 7 weeks, working 3 days at a time and operating the bathhouse during the other 4. By accomplishing this renovation we will be able to host more bathers and lower prices, ultimately reaching more of our community as Asheville gets back on its feet.
If you are a die-hard Sauna House fan and want to support these transformational expenses, we are selling!
- 10 annual memberships for $2,500 each. (perks in details)
- 40 unlimited monthly memberships for $300 a month, which we have never done. Ever. (perks in the details)
Providing jobs in WNC is a critical mission. The faster we can execute this plan the sooner we can create jobs and help customers heal. This renovation supports many local teams; Drom on demo and general contracting, Javier and his team on tile and Dave Green and his team on plumbing. Before the hurricane, we had prepared all new saunas for the upcoming season — Designed by Karie and Laura and Co @motherstudio, custom built by Andy Mcfate and his team. We are very excited to incorporate these into our new look.
Thank you all for continuing to support us in this great mission to improve human health through the power of sauna and cold water therapy.
All the best,
Andrew & Jen
