The Huum Hive puts “heavy” in “heavy-hitter”. This sauna heater is a powerhouse in every sense. The hive is perfect for large saunas that need to cook. This heater holds an astounding 595 lbs of stones (that’s about the weight of a grizzly bear, and just like a grizzly bear, the Hive is an apex predator, eliminating its competition)! The hive brings the heat (and the steam). This is perfect for commercial saunas or large home saunas.

Include heater flange?

The embedding flange is useful when you are planning to install your Hive stove partly inside the sauna bench. It's made of stainless steel and it covers up the wooden edges around the stove, leaving the final result looking refined and smooth.

Include a reflect?

Thanks to the placement of the reflector on the heater it is possible to achieve half smaller safety distances from the walls. It is made of stainless steel and is mounted on the side of the heater. The reflectors can be connected to each other.

Let’s get nerdy about an important part of the ideal sweat sessions: thermal mass. The Hive has a humongous stone capacity, and all those stones naturally absorb heat and slowly release it (thermal mass!), meaning consistent high heat and fewer temperature fluctuations.

As the biggest heater in the Huum lineup, this beast is ideal for large saunas. We’re especially big fans of using it as a central heater to show this beast of a stove off and take full advantage of the 360-degree safety rail.

The satisfying sizzle of pouring water over the sauna rocks is more than just a way to set the mood: the high surface area of the stones means water evaporates more quickly which creates more steam faster.
